ABOUT THE ARTIST

I studied art in college and began taking as many classes as I could in jewelry making. Eventually I began making pins and earrings in a collage effect using paper, plastic, glass, fabric, and just about anything else that appealed to me. In 1994, I took a weekend workshop in lampworked beads with Kate Fowle (now Kate Fowle Meleney). By the end of the workshop I was hooked, and have been making beads ever since. The flowers I now make have been evolving over the last two years. I have been showing my work at the Artrider Craft shows at the Park Avenue Armory, in New York City.
